Role Overview

The Sustainable Advisor will work closely with organisations to embed sustainability into business strategy, operations, governance, and capital decisions. This role involves advising leadership teams, supporting sustainability programs, and translating environmental and social goals into measurable business impact.

Key Responsibilities

Advise clients on sustainability strategy, ESG integration, and net-positive business models.
Support development and execution of sustainability roadmaps, targets, and KPIs.
Assist in impact measurement, reporting, and disclosures aligned with global frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD, ISSB, etc.).
Conduct materiality assessments, baseline studies, and performance analysis.
Support capital advisory, sustainable finance, and impact investment initiatives where relevant.
Research emerging trends, regulations, and best practices in sustainability and ESG.
Contribute to thought leadership, proposals, and client presentations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Economics, Business, Public Policy, or related fields.
2–5 years of experience in sustainability consulting, ESG advisory, corporate sustainability, or impact investing.
Strong understanding of sustainability frameworks, climate risks, and impact measurement.
Ability to analyse data and translate insights into clear business recommendations.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong problem-solving and structured thinking abilities.

Preferred Skills

Experience working with corporates, investors, or early-stage ventures.
Exposure to climate strategy, decarbonisation, or sustainable finance.
Familiarity with policy, regulatory landscapes, and disclosure standards.
Ability to work across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
