Climate change is real and science has demonstrated it unassailably. Our ability to progress a sustainable planet hinge on mitigating the ill-effects of climate change. This requires us to bring down our global Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions to net-zero towards the middle of the century (and no later than 2070); and adapting our infrastructure, farms, nature, policies and behaviour to build resilience against extreme events arising from temperature rises that have been locked-in already due to past and ongoing emissions.
